Carroll Education Foundation of Southlake invites you to their annual Culinary Celebration at The Hyatt Regency DFW on Sunday, October 9 from 6-10 p.m. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m.
The Southlake CEF Culinary Celebration aims high to raise money for students and teachers of Carroll Independent School District. The 15th annual event will feature 25 Metroplex chefs, specialty wines and cocktails, live and silent auctions, a big board and much more. The live auction will feature exciting items including a unique item from Park Place Lexus, an original artwork from one of our own CISD students, and other fun surprises.
There will be wonderful items featured on the silent auction and big board including sports memorabilia, trips, and jewelry from Grayson Allen Fine Jewelers. The wine pull also will offer unbelievable deals where you will pay $25 for a bottle of wine that could be valued at more than $250. The Live Auction will feature a hunting trip to Argentina as well as a private jet to New Orleans, provided by sponsor Aviation Elite Services.
This year's event will also feature live entertainment by Railhead. Railhead has performed across the DFW Metroplex in numerous venues and at festivals including Southlake's Oktoberfest. They have been featured at the Hard Rock Café in Atlanta and The House of Blues in Orlando.
The theme of this year's Culinary Celebration is “Cirque du CEF.” Glen Harvell, Chairman of the Board for CEF, comments, “This year's Carroll Education Foundation Culinary Celebration will be focused around a Circus theme called “Cirque du CEF.” However, instead of peanuts and cotton candy, the event will bring together ‘three rings' of great dishes from 25 restaurateurs from Northeast Tarrant County along with wine and cocktails. In addition to the fabulous food and drink, our ‘midway' will feature a live auction, a wine and jewelry pull and an amazing array of other treasures in a large silent auction. Just like when the circus comes to town, we are hoping the entire CISD extended community shows up to help the Carroll Education Foundation in our efforts to support our kids. “
This annual fundraiser for Carroll Education Foundation raises funds to support the children and teachers of Southlake Carroll Independent School District. Teachers receive grants from CEF for innovative ideas that will enhance the learning experience of their students. Students can also receive scholarships their senior year from CEF.
Culinary Celebration 2010 raised more than $200,000, all of which was used to provide numerous teacher grants and student scholarships benefiting the children of the Carroll Independent School District.
