Southlake Hospital Celebrates “Season for the Ages”
The Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers aren’t the only local teams to have enjoyed this year the most successful seasons in their history. The team at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake (Texas Health Southlake) announced today that it hasrecently received 11 major awards or corporate recognitions, including, for the fourth straight year, being named to Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare list, on which it placed sixth nationally.
Traci Bernard, President, credits a culture built on relationships and deep commitment to patient, physician and employee satisfaction for the hospital’s recognition.

The hospital also received the Top 100 Hospitals for Patient Experience Award by WomenCertified®, which awards businesses and brands based on consumer experience. Hospitals are selected for this prestigious annual list based on a proprietary scoring process that incorporates Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores along with a higher level of analysis that weighs criteria identified as the most important to women for patient satisfaction.
Finally, one of the nation’s premier organizations providing physician information and hospital quality outcomesrecognized Texas Health Southlake’s joint replacement expertise (total knee and total hip) as well as its gynecologic surgical excellence.
