Southlake Chamber to Honor Excellence

Jun 07, 2012 04:27PM ● Published by Mike

Member of the Super Bowl XLIV Champion New Orleans Saints and Southlake native Chase Daniel will be the featured speaker at the Southlake Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Awards Banquet sponsored by Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake.

A two-year starter at quarterback for the Carroll Dragons, Daniel threw for 8,298 yards and 91 touchdowns while leading the team to a 31-1 overall record and a State and Mythical National Championship in 2004. The two-year Heisman Trophy candidate from the University of Missouri comes back home to entertain and inspire members of the city’s best in business this July 20th at the Southlake Hilton.

Each year the Southlake Chamber and its members recognize group and individual achievements from throughout the city. Annual awards include, Citizen of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Civic Group of the Year and many more. Emceed by past Dragon Head Football Coach Todd Dodge this year’s Luau inspired banquet plans to be a winner!
