For those that are looking for more than holiday-themed movies, there are plenty of highly anticipated films coming out this month. The prequel to the Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit, will be premiering Friday, December 14.

Looking for an animated film? Look no further than Monsters, Inc 3-D. Catch Sully and Mike Wazowski again on the big screen, bigger than ever! This is the perfect primer for the Monsters, Inc. sequel, Monsters University coming to Harkins Theatres in the summer of 2013.

Christmas Day is one of the most popular days to go to the movies and this year, there are two fantastic films making their way into Harkins Theatres: Django and Les Miserables.

Django tells the tale of a former slave and a German-born bounty hunter who team up to battle a tyrannical plantation owner who now owns the wife of the former slave. An exciting thriller, Django is sure to have you gripping your armrests throughout the film.

Les Miserables is the motion-picture adaptation of the beloved play seen all over the world about a man who was once a criminal and changes for the good to save a young girl in need, a must-see for this movie season!
