Captain Kirk is back to save the Federation Star Trek: Into Darkness 3D.

Fast forward to the future this weekend at Harkins Southlake 14 Theatres with the newest Star Trek film, Star Trek Into Darkness. Captain Kirk must lead his crew against an evil force, rogue Starfleet Federation agent John Harrison, who has every intention of destroying the Starfleet organization and planet Earth.

At the beginning of the film, Captain Kirk is in trouble for violating the top rule of the Federation- interfering with a planet’s primitive culture. Shortly after, the organization realizes it has a bigger problem- Harrison, the former Starfleet agent, begins attacking Federation posts on Earth. The Federation reinstates Kirk to save the planet and defeat the rogue agent Harrison. His mission sends him to the Klingon planet, where Kirk learns that not everything is as it seems.

With the help of science officer Spock, medical officer Bones and communications officer Uhura, Kirk must face death in order to save the only family that he has left- his crew. Chock-full of romance, action and science-fiction fantasy, Star Trek Into Darkness is a must-see for Star Trek fans and movie lovers alike.

This action-packed film keeps viewers on the edge of their seats but children might be better entertained in the Harkins Theatres exclusive, in-lobby PlayCenter where children are supervised by fingerprinted and background-checked professionals for less than the cost of a movie ticket!
