With Dallas and Frisco locations already running, Southlake becomes Forest Park's third physician-owned facility in North Texas.

Forest Park Medical Center officially opened its doors in Southlake with an open house and ribbon cutting celebrating the completion of the first phase of development. The brand new tri-level hospital on the south side of SH 114 now offers more than 220,000 square feet of world-class care including an acute care hospital and a medical office building. Once it’s fully completed, Forest Park will be a 30-acre campus encompassing roughly 1 million square feet of medical facilities.

LandPlan Development & Neal Richards Group — the developers of this project — have equipped Forest Park with a state-of-the-art facility consisting of 12 operating suites, two procedure rooms, 54 inpatient rooms, 10 VIP suites, 6 ICU beds and an emergency room.  When fully staffed, it is estimated Forest Park will create as many as 300 new jobs for medical professionals and facilities management.

“We appreciate the overwhelming support of the community, as well as our partnerships with the chamber and city officials, and look forward to offering outstanding, cost-effective care for our patients and their employers, as well as an efficient way of practicing for our physicians,” said Dr. Robert Wyatt, Forest Park managing director.

With Dallas and Frisco facilities already running, Southlake becomes Forest Park’s third physician-owned facility in North Texas, with additional locations in various stages of development in Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin.
