Nov 06, 2013 09:01AM ● Published by tina

The curtain goes up tonight as Carroll Theatre premieres the full Broadway score of Les Misérables.  Selected as one of the first high schools in the nation to produce the musical, cast members began preparing for the emotionally challenging roles last spring and have drawn on their off-stage friendships to produce chemistry on stage.

Seniors Heather Wang and Mark Elliot will portray Fantine and Jean Valjean.  Also appearing are seniors Joey Donoian and Kristine Lahde as Javert and Eponine, along with Emily Cutler and Timmy Thompson as Cosette and Marius.  These seniors have done extensive character research in preparing for their roles and will be auditioning for college placement later this fall.

Presented by Roxann Taylor & Associates, Realtors, tickets are now on sale through Dragon Drama.  The show continues through Sunday, November 10.

All performances are in the Carroll Theatre Auditorium, located at Carroll Senior High School.
