The Student Activity Center at Carroll Senior High School was filled to capacity with parents, friends, coaches, school administrators and community supporters as 18 student-athletes gathered to sign letters of intent at this morning’s National Letter of Intent Signing ceremony. It was one of the biggest classes ever, according to Phil Barber, a longtime member of Dragon Council.

Guest speakers at the ceremony included CISD Superintendent Dr. David Faltys, Athletic Director Kevin Ozee and CSHS Principal Shawn Duhon, who presented the athletes to an enthusiastic crowd. “It’s a great day to be a Dragon!” declared Teri Morrison, the CISD women’s athletic coordinator and head women’s basketball coach.
