It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as the City of Southlake prepares for its annual tree lighting ceremony in Town Square on Saturday evening.  This year’s holiday fun begins at 5:30 p.m. and includes live entertainment by local choirs and the Southlake Community Band.  There will also be a variety of holiday-themed activities for everyone in the family to enjoy including carriage rides, photos with Santa, holiday refreshments and the popular snow tube hill.  Experience the rush of sliding down a 12-foot high, four-lane snow hill!

Be sure and gather ‘round the Christmas tree at 6:30 p.m. to see Mayor John Terrell and Old St. Nick flip the switch to light the majestic tree with thousands of lights.  The holidays are not complete without giving a wish list to Santa, so don’t miss seeing him in person at Santa’s Village.  The evening will also include radio personality, Tony Lopez, from 94.9 KLTY as the emcee.  In the spirit of giving, the station is once again promoting the 94.9 KLTY Christmas Wish™ program. Stop by the KLTY booth during the event to read wishes or grant a wish.
