Southlake's own Kelsey Walton is strutting the red carpet atbrthis year's SundancebrFilm Festival in Park City, Utah.
The seven-year-old actress from Johnson Elementary isbrfeatured in a short film called Dig.brDallas director Toby Halbrooks chose Kelsey as one of fourth children to be inbrthis film.
Dig focuses on abryoung girl watching her father dig a hole in their backyard. The neighborhoodbrcomes to watch her father because they are mesmerized about his purpose.
Out of more than 8,100 films submitted to The Sundance FilmbrFestival this year, Dig was selectedbras one of 66 films.
Dig was alsobrselected to not only premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, but is also onbrYouTube in a promotion.
“It can be watched be those in Southlake as it is beingbrshown in Utah,” says Kelsey's mom Nancy Lesky.
