Although February may be the shortest month of the year, various events took place throughout the 28-day period.
In case you missed it, we are here to round up the top trending stories and provide updates where necessary.
Our top story for the month was the Park Village development. The community is slated to open in November 2014 and will feature specialty retailers such REI, Ra Sushi, Gloria’s and Orvis.
This week, the Woodmount Company confirmed The Fresh Market would be the gourmet grocer in Park Village.
Another top story was the 13 student athletes who participated in National Signing Day.
Carroll Dragon athletes in football, soccer and cross country signed scholarships to some of the nation’s top colleges, including University of Texas, New Mexico State and University of Nebraska.
Shortly following National Signing Day, one of the 13 athletes was named a distinguished finalist for community service. Lady Dragon soccer defender Emma Scheffler was recognized as one of ten Distinguished Finalists for The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.
