Texas Health Southlake team Goes Red for American Heart Association.

Employees of Texas Health Harris Methodist Southlake raised money and awareness during February for the American Heart Association.

These efforts were in honor of National Heart Month and the organization's Go Red for Women campaign.

The hospital hosted fundraising events throughout the month, including a bake sale, luncheon and candy and flower sales on Valentine's Day.

As a a result, Texas Health Southlake raised $1,350 for the American Heart Association.

In addition, the hospital sponsored and provided 37 volunteers for a community-wide CPR training event, which raised $8,000 for the American Heart Association. Roughly 170 residents received proper training.
