Studio Movie Grill recently announced a major expansion initiative with new location openings across the nation, including Colleyville.

Since 2000, Studio Movie Grill CEO Brian Schultz has swiftly grown his company to 16 locations and 158 screens in seven states.

"Studio Movie Grill is excited to be expanding and to be on the forefront of enormous growth in our segment of the movie exhibition industry," said Schultz. "We are always seeking new ways to provide the guest with a relaxing, no-rush experience in an appealing environment, coupled with the best technology, dedicated service and a continually evolving, eclectic menu."

The company prides itself on modernizing the traditional movie-going experience by combining first-run movies with in-theater dining.

Studio Movie Grill’s newest Dallas-Fort Worth-area location, Studio Movie Grill Colleyville, is set to open in April.

The 51,935-square foot establishment will be an upscale social destination, encompassing eight screens and more than 1,000 seats.

Studio Movie Grill Colleyville will offer causal dining and lounge areas for socializing before or after the main feature and dinner.

"The Studio Movie Grill is so much more than movies," Schultz explained. "We offer one-stop destinations for dining, entertainment, and a welcoming place to meet with friends and family. We're a great choice for both special occasions and a simple night out."

As Studio Movie Grill prepares for its newest locations, the company has upped the ante on what to expect from theater food. As a result, a new menu is slated to roll out in May that will feature everything from Sage Dusted Pork Chops to Pork Belly Macaroni and Cheese to Mahi Mahi Fish and Chips.

"SMG is excited to transform the typical cinema experience and offer a community gathering place alongside dinner and a movie," Schultz stated.
