The North Texas Special Needs Assistance Partners continues to create and support a variety of programs and services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Consequently, this nonprofit organization is hosting its first Chari-Tee Golf Tournament, at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 24, located at Cowboys Golf Club, 1600 Fairway Dr., Grapevine.

Proceeds from this event will benefit SNAP programs and services.

Players, sponsors and volunteers can join the event to support individuals with special needs and their families. It costs $200 for single players and $800 for a team of four.

At 11 a.m. registration opens for the event, which is followed up by lunch at noon and a shotgun start to the tournament at 1:30 p.m. Additionally, the 19th Hole Reception begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and awards at 6:30 p.m.

In North Texas, there are 200 SNAP members that are in need of financial assistance to provide jobs, transportation, social events and housing for special needs individuals. Events such as the Chari-Tee Golf Tournament will help raise funds for SNAP members.
