Jul 07, 2014 08:48AM ● Published by Dia

Now that summer has officially started, it’s time to enjoy delicious seasonal fare and ice cold beverages. Whether dining in or ordering from the catering menu, Southlake’s Wildwood Grill has a lineup of summertime dishes that encompass the flavors and fun of summer.

The Celebrate Summer Menu makes the most of summer grilling. Enjoy a variety of $10 menu items now through August 15:

·       Grilled chicken sandwich with hand cut fries

·       Salmon burger with house made sweet potato chips

·       Wildwood burger with hand cut fries

·       Wedge salad with house made soup

·       Chicken flatbread (one-half portion) served with your choice of a Caesar or artisan salad

According to Dave Garner, co-owner of Wildwood Grill, the Celebrate Summer Menu combines popular menu items with traditional summer favorites.

“Nothing says summer better than a burger and cold beer, but many people also like to eat lighter in the summer which is why we included several salad options,” Garner explains, noting Wildwood’s regular menu is still available along with Sunday brunch.

Need a little refreshment during the summer heat? Enjoy a cold Texas craft beer. Take your pick of several on tap favorites, including Grapevine Craft Brewery’s “Lakefire.” Other Texas drafts include Revolver “Blood & Honey” from Granbury, Deep Ellum IPA from Dallas, Shiner Bock from Shiner, Martin House “Daybreak” Ale from Fort Worth, and Southern Star “Bombshell Blonde” from Conroe. Don’t just eat local—drink local too.

Stop by Wildwood Grill for $1 off all drafts during happy hour, each day from 3:45pm to 7pm. If you’re not a beer fan, enjoy $4 house wines and $5 Texas-sized martinis. Be sure to take advantage of the $3-$5 small plates, including tomato basil bread, achiote chicken skewers, tea chicken flatbread, jalapeno shrimp, prime steak flatbread, and BBQ ribs with fries.

If you’re planning a summer get-together and need a little help with the cooking, consider the Summer Picnic Catering Packages. Wildwood will even deliver to your event! The catering packages include several courses to accommodate up to 15 people for $149.99.

Start your catered meal with an assorted fruit, cheese and veggie tray. This is no typical cheese tray—Wildwood only serves artisanal cheeses and fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Next, choose between two popular restaurant starters, dragon dip (a grainy mustard seed-infused cheddar and pale ale dip served with pretzel roll slices) or wood-fired spinach & artichoke dip. After all, a party just isn’t a party without appetizers.

For the main entrée, options include wood-fired chicken sliders, bacon cheeseburger sliders or grilled chicken skewers. If you really want to impress your guests, you may upgrade to the Gourmet Picnic Package ($199.99) and choose between prime hangar steak sliders or pan-seared Chilean sea bass sliders. Along with your entrée of choice, enjoy a side of wood-fired macaroni, which is skillet-baked with a house cheese blend, toasted breadcrumbs and bacon.

Finally, end your summer meal on a sweet note—the dessert tray includes cheesecake slices, brownies and assorted cookies. After eating such amazing food at your summer picnic or party, your friends and family will want to come back again and again.

Enjoy delicious catered meals or in-house brunch, lunch or dinner anytime this summer at Wildwood Grill. Prepare for the pure satisfaction that wood-fired grilling and from-scratch cuisine can bring.
