Bey and Jay team up for summer tour hitting
Dallas July 22
Arguably music’s most powerful pair, R&B queen Beyoncé Knowles and rapper husband Jay-Z are joining forces for what is sure to be the best thing since sliced bread. The duo’s On the Run summer tour kicked off June 25 in Miami and will visit at least 16 other locations, including AT&T Stadium on July 22. While it’s uncertain what the superstar couple’s exact set list will be, their collaborations “Crazy in Love,” “Bonnie & Clyde,” “Déjà Vu,” “Upgrade U” and “Drunk in Love” are sure to be included. However, no matter what hits they elect to perform, the concert will undoubtedly be the most epic of the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Carter are no strangers to Texas — Beyoncé was born and raised in Houston, and the two were recently in Dallas: Jay-Z performed a show in December, and Beyoncé performed shows in July and December. The joint tour came after Beyoncé and Jay-Z finished their own solo tours, including The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and the Magna Carter World Tour. The our name spins off form the song “Part II (On the Run)” and is the third single from Jay-Z’s 12th studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, in which his wife is featured.
