First Friday Kicks Off Fall Season

Valorie Burton will be speaking at the Frist Friday 2014-2015 season kickoff 11 a.m. Sept. 5 at Harkins Theatre in Southlake. Her message will be packed with pointers and ideas that will work uniquely for each woman allowing them to build authenticpersonal confidence from the inside, out.

Valorie Burton is a bestselling author, speaker and life coach dedicated to helping people get unstuck and be unstoppable in every area of life. She is the founder of The Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute and has served hundreds of clients in more than 40 states and 10 countries. “Last year, Valorie was such a hit we had to have her back,” said Lisa Rose, First Friday founder and president of projectHandUp. “She’s relevant, real and propels you with practical ways to move forward.”

A place for real women to have real talks about real life, First Friday hosts a free speaker at 11 a.m. the first Friday of each month (the second Friday during the Holidays) September through May at Harkins Theatre in Southlake. Founded by Lisa Rose in September 2008, Frist Friday is an initiative of projectHandUp, a 501(c)3 that gives women a hand up with life’s challenges.
