The Multimillion-Dollar Plan

Considered to be the largest outlet and value retail shopping location in North Texas, Grapevine Mills recently announced plans for a multimillion-dollar renovation. According to a press release, these renovations will “dramatically transform” the property.

Plans for the project include neighborhood-by-neighborhood visual and structural improvements, architectural facelifts, a reimagining of retail facades, sleek new flooring, contemporary energy efficient lighting and new soft seating groupings designed to maximize comfort.

Grapevine Mills will conduct the renovation process, with an expected completion date of 2015, in four phases over the next year in an effort designed for minimal disruption to shoppers and stores. The majority of the work will be performed while the center is closed.

“We’re looking forward to further developing and refining the shopping experience through this significant investment that will better showcase Grapevine Mills’ outstanding retail selections paired with popular dining and entertainment options,” said Gregg Goodman, president of The Mills. “This transformational effort will also benefit the City of Grapevine as we are sure to entice residents and visitors from afar to spend more time and money at Grapevine Mills.”

Vera Bradley Outlet recently opened its first-in-market location at the shopping complex, and Torrid and Steve Madden stores will open in the fall. This adds to their already growing portfolio of shops added earlier this year, including; The Luggage Factory, Buckle, Express Factory Store, Francesca’s, O’Neill and Adidas.
