While Carroll High School senior quarterback Ryan Agnew still has some time to finish up high school, his days as a Dragon are numbered. In December, it was announced that the 6-foot-1, 180-pound speedster committed to play at San Diego State to play for the Aztecs.
Agnew finished his career with a total of 6,967 passing yards, 2,286 rushing yards, and 96 total touchdowns. The commitment may very well have been a tough decision for the young man. According to a recent article on Mountain West Connection, Agnew turned down offers from Houston, the University of Connecticut, UNLV, and Arkansas State.
Tod Leonard (@sdutleonard) quoted Carroll head coach Hal Wasson on Twitter on Dec. 12: "impeccable character ... makes plays with feet, arm and mind."
We'd like to congratulate Ryan on all of his achievements. Below is a list of articles relevant to the future Aztec.
