And So it Begins

Hot off their fifth album release, V, which debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200, Maroon 5 is taking their show on the road. What makes The Maroon 5 world tour 2015 a must see? For starters, it’s the beginning of the band’s 27-city North American tour, and they decided to kick it off right here in Dallas on Feb. 16 at the American Airlines Center! The band will be touring alongside MAGIC!

It all began with the single “Harder to Breathe” from their first album, which quickly climbed the charts and garnered the band a Grammy nod for Best New Artist. Now, three Grammy Awards later, Maroon 5 is at the top of their game. The band signed with Interscope records in 2014, and includes keyboardist and backing vocalist PJ Morton with guitarist James Valentine, guitarist and vocalist Jesse Carmichael, bass guitarist Mickey Madden and drummer Matt Flynn. Of course, leading the charge is frontman and lead singer Adam Levine, most widely recognized for his role as a judge on NBC’s The Voice since its inception. Fans of the show may remember Levine’s two season wins—and an extraordinarily close second place during season season last December, when his team represented three of the four finalists. But for now, Levine is celebrating his reign as champion of the stage alongside his five bandmates, two who teamed up with him in high school initially as Kara’s Flowers. They’ve come a long way since then, and it’s obvious they won’t be stopping anytime soon.
