Upcoming Squirrel Run at Fort Worth Botanic Garden Postponed to Fall

The March 21 Squirrel Run (10k, 5k, family fun maze, and health fair) at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden has been moved to Nov. 14, according to senior horticulturist Steve Huddleston.

"After an evaluation of the site of the BG Squirrel Run & Health Fair following the ice/snow and rain storms, the Garden Staff and Squirrel Run Committee had to make the difficult decision to postpone the BG Squirrel Run until the fall," the registration page says.

This will be the eighth year for the event. More information will come as the date approaches. Register online at

The garden keeps visitors engaged throughout the year, but a few special events eclipse the lot over the next two months, despite the spring opener's postponement. See below or click here, for more information.
