In May, the Grubbs Infiniti Drive2Excellence Program awarded two new Infiniti Q50 cars to a deserving student and teacher in Southlake: sophomore Alyssa Martin and Carroll High School French teacher, Rebecca Gould.
Gould was thrilled to win, and since her family only had one vehicle, the new Q50 was a huge blessing and would provide a much-needed second car for the busy and dedicated teacher.
Martin is a special needs student, and although she would not be able to drive her new Q50, her parents said the car was an amazing gift and they couldn’t wait to take her for a spin in the luxury vehicle.
Working with Shawn Duhon, Principal of Carroll Senior High School, Grubbs Infiniti created Drive2Excellence in 2014 to encourage students to work harder in school and achieve better grades. Grubbs said, “Of course, we gave them a great incentive: a brand new Infiniti to drive for a year.”
