Taking a family vacation this summer? You won’t be waiting long at DFW Airport, and according to a recent survey by the Travel LeadersGroup, you’ll probably be more satisfied with your airport experience than in the past.

The April Consumer Travel Survey polled over 3,300 Americans throughout the country and found participant satisfaction with airport security rose from 87.5 percent last year to 88.4 this year, while dissatisfaction decreased from 12.5 percent last year to only 11.6 percent this year. They also reported that overall, Americans are happy with new airport programs, such as TSA Pre-Check, as they tend to reduce wait times.

“Americans have grown accustomed to enhanced airport security procedures that allow for a more stress-free experience for many travelers,” says Barry Liben, CEO of Travel Leaders Group, in the press release.

Entering the peak summer travel season, Southlake families will be flying all over the world to reach their favorite destinations. With DFW Airport renovations constantly providing more amenities and new nationwide programs reducing wait times, your summer travel experiences are sure to be sunnier than ever.
