CEF Stories: Central Market Chef Weikel

Originally from Seattle, Chef Weikel received his training from Pacific Institute for Culinary Arts in Vancouver B.C, where he became the youngest graduate of the prestigious private academy. Chef Weikel also has been certified through the Culinary Arts Institute of America

Prior to joining Central Market, Chef Weikel was the Executive Chef for the Kansas City Royals At Kauffman Stadium, Executive Chef For The Minnesota Vikings, prior to Major League Sports, Chef Peter was the Executive Chef of his own exclusive fine dining restaurant and catering company, just outside of Seattle W.A.  In addition to his many awards, Chef Weikel also effectively manages a staff of over 75 cooks and pantry personnel. He is an active member in the A.C.F and proud supporter of the local farm to table and slow food movements.
