Week 1:  14-20 loss @ Austin Westlake
#4 Lil' Jordan Humphrey
Lil'Jordan Humphrey may have changed his number (#25 last season) but his offensive production hasn't changed from last year's breakout season. With 171 yards of total offense the senior RB is the player of the week. Humphrey ran of 93 yards and both of the Dragon's TDs against Austin Westlake. Showing his budding versatility he also caught a team high 4 passes for 78 yards.

Week 2:  34-30 win @ Tulsa Union
#5 Shemar Coleman
Shemar Coleman stepped up big when his team needed him most scoring three touchdowns to help the Dragons complete a thrilling come from behind victory. Coleman caught a team high 7 passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 26 yards and two scores including the late-game wildcat pitch that gave the Dragons their first lead of the night.

Week 3:  52-14 win vs Midland Lee
#13 Mason Holmes
Mason Holmes thoroughly enjoyed his first varsity start at Dragon Stadium. The junior quarterback completed an impressive 70 percent of his passes (22-33) for 311 yards and 5 TDs. Mason was poised in the pocket behind a dominant offensive line.  He didn't give up a turnover while spreading the ball across 4 different receivers— most notably to Lil' Jordan Humphrey who had 10 receptions for 153 yards.

Week 5:  42-17 win @ Abilene
#12 Zach Farrar
Zach Farrar started the game off hot against Abilene. The senior WR caught three first quarter touchdown passes from Mason Holmes to cement an early lead for the Dragons. Farrar finished the game with 5 receptions for 96 yards and an impressive 18.8 yards per reception.

Week 6:  38-37 win @ Coppell
#22 Robert Barnes
Robert Barnes had 11 tackles but none bigger than the one he made on the last play of the game. Barnes shot the gap to take down Coppell QB during a failed 2-pt conversion. The tackle sealed a 38-37 OT victory for the Dragons!

Week 7:  52-21 win vs Richland
#13 Mason Holmes
Mason Holmes' second start at Dragon Stadium showed off even more of his emerging skill sets. Holmes completed a 76 percent of his passes (16-21) for 235 yards and 4 TDs. With two more scoring connections with WR Zach Farrar the young QB has found his favorite receiver. The two have paired up for 8 scores in the past three weeks. Not known for his running just yet, Holmes kept Richland on their heels averaging 8.8 yards over 4 carries all in three quarters of play.

Week 8:  35-37 loss @ Euless Trinity
