Lucille Fleming Throws First Pitch at Texas Rangers Game

Sep 08, 2015 01:53PM ● Published by Audrey Sellers

Your age should never get in the way of accomplishing your goals. For Lucille Fleming, it sure didn’t. This 103-year-old woman, who happens to be one of the Texas Rangers’ biggest fans, threw out the first pitch at the team’s game against the Blue Jays on August 26.

Her friend, Judy Gaman, says: “She did an amazing job as fans cheered her on. The Conservatory in Keller played a huge role in helping Lucille’s dream come true. Share your dream with others and ask others about their dreams. Imagine what could happen if we all joined a Dream to Reality movement!”

We spotlighted Fleming in the October 2014 issue of Southlake Style, and we’re happy to spotlight her again. Nice arm, Lucille – and keep dreaming big.

Watch Lucille Fleming throw the first pitch.
