We brought you news about how to help Southlake’s Ride With Pride, and now we want to share news about how to help support Amy’s Wish With Wings. The center helps special needs children reach their full potential through interaction with horses. There are three fundraisers available for those who wish to participate. You can:

1. Enjoy some Feedstore BBQ. Dine in or carry out some great food on September 21 from 3 to 8:30 p.m. to benefit Amy’s Wish With Wings.

2. Sponsor a school horse for a $1,000 donation. Amy’s Wish With Wings accepts three sponsors per horse. Sponsors receive a customized plaque on the stall. They simply make a donation; they’re not responsible for feeding, caring for, riding or cleaning the horse.

3. Join in a yard sale. Whether you have items to donate or you’d like to volunteer your time, Amy’s Wish With Wings can use your help October 22 – 24. You may drop off tax-deductible clothes, furniture, toys, kitchen gear, tools and other items on the classroom porch of Ride With Pride. For a receipt, contact

Proceeds from these fundraisers will help the facility finish paying vet bills and to purchase a new therapy horse. For more information, visit
