Art in the Square, a nationally ranked fine-arts event that has raised more than $2 million for area charities, has a new logo. Kris Nelson, Chair 2016, presented the logo on September 15 at a reception hosted by Grayson Allen Jewelers.
The redesign incorporates characteristics of the original logo to keep the event’s branding recognition. Three new versions were unveiled – each offering flexibility in its use.
“Living in Color” uses the primary colors with the addition of two more colors to create a display of vibrant hues. A black and white rendering is for single-color applications, and “Living in Now” is adaptable to feature samplings of artwork and renderings of key attractions to entice attendance each year.
To commemorate the event, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty handed out t-shirts imprinted with the new logo. To get a first look at the 17th Art in the Square, planned for April 22-24, 2016, head to ArtInTheSquare.com.
