Drybar Opens Up Shop in Grapevine

some love? Want to instantly upgrade your ’do? You're in luck: Drybar, the nation’s premier blow-dry salon, opened in Grapevine this fall. The concept, which has captivated a legion of
loyal clients around the country, is simple: No cuts. No color. Just blowouts.
Drybar provides professional blowouts at a flat price of just $40, regardless of hair length or thickness (wash included). The list of styles reads like a cocktail menu: the Cosmo (lots of loose curls), the Straight Up (straight with a little body), the Southern Comfort (big hair, lots of volume), the Mai Tai (messy and beachy), the Manhattan (sleek and smooth) the Dirty Martini (tousled and textured) and for the little ladies, the Shirley Temple at $28.
Founded by longtime stylist Alli Webb, Drybar has become a regular stop for celebs such as Julia Roberts, Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Garner, Chrissy Teigen, Zooey Deschanel, Emma Roberts, Lana Del Rey, Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Rita Ora, Rose McGowan, Molly Sims, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Nina Garcia, Katherine Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver—just to name a few.
“We are thrilled to be opening our sixth shop in the great state of Texas,” said Alli Webb, founder of Drybar, in a press release. “We have been wanting to open a location in Tarrant County that is easily accessible to everyone, and we finally found it. We are so excited to be a part of the community."
At the core of the experience is Drybar’s top-of-the-line customer service and obsessive attention to detail. The Grapevine shop will feature Drybar’s signature design, including custom Italian chairs, tufted fabric walls, marble bars with built-in phone docking stations, and flat screens featuring your favorite chick flicks. Drybar also offers a full line of professional hair styling products and tools, created for the perfect blowout.
The 1,810-square-foot Grapevine location will consist of 12 styling chairs, and will feature all of the signature elements that define the unique Drybar experience. With additional openings on the horizon in NYC, DC and Chicago, the brand is on track to have over 50 locations nationwide by the end of 2015.
During the month of October, Drybar paired with City of Hope, a private, not-for-profit clinical research center, to create the Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo Pink Bottle. Drybar will donate $1 to City of Hope from each sale up to $25,000. With this purchase, customers are supporting breast cancer research, treatment and education.
