Rosemary and Josh Briggle, Owners of Primrose School of Southlake and Primrose School at Hidden Lakes, saw a need in the community and stepped in to help. Their schools hosted a two-week-long diaper drive that wrapped up Monday, bringing in nearly 13,000 diapers for Captain Hope’s Kids, a nonprofit that helps meet the critical needs of homeless children.

The organization donates approximately 16,000 diapers a week, making it the largest supplier of diapers to homeless shelters in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

“We hope to exceed our number the next time around, however, the volunteer who picked up the diapers said it was the biggest single donation he had ever seen,” say the Briggles. “We’re very proud of all of our Primrose families for their generosity and compassion.”

The diaper drive coincided with national Diaper Need Awareness Week, which ran from September 28 to October 4, 2015.
