Save the Date for S.P.A.R.K.’s Next Event

Parents: If you’re looking for insight on talking to your kids about drugs, there’s an upcoming event you won’t want to miss. Students and Parents Against Risks to Our Kids (S.P.A.R.K.) is hosting the adults-only program, “Drugs 411: So You Hopefully Don’t Have to Dial 911” on November 17 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The session features speakers Riley Shaw from the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office and Calvin Bond, Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the DEA. Also on hand will be SROs from CISD’s middle and high schools as well as a narcotics detective.
