Visions of sugar plumsbrwill be dancing in your head on December 5 – that's when the InternationalbrBallet Theater (IBT) is hosting its Nutcracker Performances. Shows are at 2 andbr5 p.m. at the Dupree Theater at the Irving Arts Center. Studio A Dance inbrSouthlake is the official home of IBT.
“Nutcracker Sweet: Twistbron a Traditional Tale” will be an entertaining performance for all ages, with abrcreative script to match the beauty of the ballet. Dancers from Studio A andbrbeyond auditioned for roles, with professional Principal Dancers, Harry Ferilbr(Bruce Wood Dance Project) and Yulia Ilina (Russian trained ballerina), joiningbrthe troupe.
To further celebrate thebrholiday season with everything Nutcracker, IBT is hosting its 1st Annual NutcrackerbrBenefit Tea on November 21 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Studio A, which will bebrtransformed into a winter wonderland with Clara's Tea Room, Texas Sweet TeabrRoom, Land of the Sweets/Candy Cane Room, IBT Boutique and Silent Auction, andbrPhoto Room with holiday setting complete with ballerinas.
