Southlake Style Celebrates 10-year Anniversary

Mar 04, 2016 02:19PM ● By Geri Allen

Southlake Style announced yesterday the tenth anniversary of the magazine’s founding, making it Southlake’s most dedicated and longest-running magazine. To honor the occasion, the Southlake Style staff and more than 130 of the magazine’s partners and friends celebrated at Del Frisco’s Grille.

“We couldn’t have made it this far without the support of the City of Southlake, our advertisers, partners and friends in the community,” said Mike Tesoriero, Publisher and Co-founder. “This milestone is a testament to Southlake Style’s commitment to covering the people, events and achievements that make our community so great.”

“As we put together our tenth anniversary edition, we got emotional as we reviewed past issues. And it’s so nice to see so many faces here celebrating with us that have graced our covers over the years,” said Nicole Tesoriero, Ad Director and Co-founder.

Over the past 10 years, Southlake Style has not only published a magazine, it has supported local charities through in-kind sponsorships and various other means of support. And as part of the tenth anniversary issue, 10 percent of the advertising dollars for its ‘Decade of Giving’ special section went to three charities that are near and dear to the Tesorieros. Checks were presented to The Miracle League of Southlake, GRACE and the Carroll Education Foundation (CEF).

“On behalf of the GRACE family, thank you Mike and Nicole for your friendship and for all that you do to support families in need,” said Shonda Schaefer, GRACE.

“Mike and Nicole are an amazing blessing to the Southlake community and we were honored to host such a milestone celebration,” said Gemma Brady, General Manager of Del Frisco’s Grille.
