Carroll Indoor Percussion Heads to Regional Competition

Mar 08, 2016 07:47AM ● Published by Audrey Sellers

Carroll Indoor Percussion has drummed up another accolade: The ensemble took home second place last Saturday at the North Texas Colorguard Association (NTCA) percussion show. This was the second time the ensemble, which is under the direction of David Walker, placed second in its first year of Open Class competition.

But the group isn’t resting on its laurels. This Thursday, Carroll Indoor Percussion heads to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to compete in the regional competition. Before it leaves, though, it hosted a community preview of its show, SURGE, at Carroll High School March 8.
