Broadway is a magical place, and “Wicked” brings The Emerald City to life with the untold story of two girls who met in the Land of Oz, long before Dorothy arrived. Galinda is the bubbly, blond popular girl who everyone considers good. Elphaba, on the other hand, was born with emerald-green skin. She’s smart, fiery and possesses an extraordinary talent in the field of sorcery, becoming known for defying gravity. As a result, she is what people like to label as some- thing bad, or rather, wicked.

These two girls end up as roommates and an initial rivalry between them later results in an unlikely friendship. You will see them work their way through their different personalities and viewpoints, a rivalry over the same love interest and Elphaba wish- ing her appearance didn’t make her a social outcast. With a plot filled with lots of twists and turns, don’t miss out on seeing this phenomenal show and learning how Glinda the Good Witch and The Wicked Witch of the West came to be known.
