The Carroll boys' andbrgirls' water polo teams were in action at Texas A&M University last weekendbrfor the 45th annual TISCA Texas State High School Water Polo tournament.
The teams played fourbrgames, advancing to the championship game before coming up just short of thebrstate title. Both teams lost 8-4 in hard-fought games and were declared statebrrunners-up. The girls were the defending 2015 state champions, and this was thebrboys' highest-ever finish at the state championship.
