The showroom at Park Place Lexus Grapevine was recently transformed into a concert hall for an evening of music and fundraising. The luxury car dealership, along with the Southlake Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class of 2015-16, hosted the Music is Magic event for Band Aide, a fundraising campaign to raise money for band instruments at Dawson and Carroll Middle School.

“We were thrilled to host the bands and help in this worthy fundraising endeavor,” said Matt Woolsey, Park Place Lexus Grapevine general manager and Leadership Southlake member, in a press release. “We enjoyed various ensemble numbers and the first-time musical collaboration of the two middle school bands. We were also treated to an amazing concert by the award winning Carroll High School Jazz Band.”

Guests dined on delicious fare catered by il Calabrese Ristorante and donated more than $6,700 through a silent auction and wine pull.

Sponsorships are featured online and will be included in the printed programs for the Carroll and Dawson Middle School Spring Concerts May 16-17. Sponsorship levels are $1,000 for “Symphony,” $500 for “Jazz,” and $100 for “Concert.”
