Treat Dad to a Beer Grab for Father’s Day

Jun 08, 2016 07:42AM ● By Audrey Sellers

Here’s a unique Father’s Day idea: Celebrate Dad with cold beer and hot molten glass. Vetro Glassblowing Studio & Fine Art Gallery in historic downtown Grapevine is kicking off its annual Father’s Day Beer Grab on June 18 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Join Vetro’s professional glassblowers for a relaxing afternoon while toasting locally crafted beer from Noble Rey Brewing Co. Registered guests choose their favorite hand-blown pilsner glass or mug.

The Father’s Day Beer Grab is $75 per reservation. Be sure to book soon because the first to register online will have the first choice to pick out their favorite pilsner glass or mug.

Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to bid on the one-of-a-kind Mega Mug. The winner will then assist the glassblowers in the design process and guests will have the opportunity to watch it being created. Dads everywhere will want to get their hands on the massive, six-pack-of-beer-holding Mega Mug.

Registration includes your favorite hand-blown pilsner glass or mug, and two complimentary servings of local craft beer and snacks, soda or water. There will also be live glassblowing demonstrations for all guests to sit back and enjoy.
