Dallas-based East Hampton Sandwich Co. will add fifth and sixth locations this summer: one across from Jesuit High School in North Dallas, and another at 2211 E. Southlake Blvd., #500 in Southlake. The Southlake location is set to open in early August, while the North Dallas location will open later that month.
According to its website, "East Hampton Sandwich Co. was founded in 2012 as a neighborhood sandwich store near where [founder] Hunter Pond grew up. Crafting strong partnerships and a sandwich crazed team, Pond began to build something he believed was greatly needed in the fast-paced dining culture of today."
The existing eateries are located at Snider Plaza and Turtle Creek Village in Dallas, Shops at Legacy in Plano, and WestBend Fort Worth.
"The menu at East Hampton Sandwich Co. is dedicated to handcrafted ingredients and quick, upscale service," the business website says. "Today the company continues to grow and bring sandwich greatness to the world with expansion inside the Texas market and ultimately nationwide."
The opening may bring some attention to Southlake, as East Hampton Sandwich Co. was ranked as one of the top 21 sandwich shops in the country by Thrillest in 2015. The shop also gained notoriety in the area as Fort Worth Weekly's Best Place to Grab a Sammy in 2015, Dallas Observer's Best of Dallas (Best Sandwich Shop Dallas) in 2013, and D Magazine's Best Sandwich Shop in 2015.
