Carroll Grad Launches Vitamin Subscription Company

Jul 25, 2016 07:40AM ● Published by Audrey Sellers

Nik Hall, a 2012 graduate of Carroll Senior High School, wants to make daily vitamins easier to swallow. His new company, vitafive, delivers gummy vitamins to customers’ doorsteps in a four-week supply of daily-dose packs.

Hall is president of vitafive and works alongside CEO Garrett Adair. Both graduated in May 2016 from Texas Christian University. The idea for the company was born during their college years. Adair’s mom sent him vitamin jars in college care packages, but he never stayed consistent with taking the vitamins.

That’s when Adair went to Hall to start their own business together, vitafive, to tackle the problems within the vitamin world.

vitafive’s customers can choose between eight different gummy vitamins: multivitamin, omega-3, vitamin D3, vitamin C, calcium and D3, CoQ10, biotin, and melatonin. Customers can select a maximum of four vitamins from these eight vitamins to create a pack of vitamins personalized to fit their needs. If they’re unsure which vitamins they need, customers can pick one of vitafive’s predesigned adult health packs: Essential Pack, Heart Pack, Immune Pack, Beauty Pack, Sleep Pack, Active Pack and Brain Pack.

vitafive also offers kid’s health packs catered towards children ages five to 12. A four-week subscription costs 50 cents to $1 per day.
