It's that bittersweet time of year when we begin to think about the upcoming fall and winter seasons and reflect back upon the summer that was. For some, it's also bittersweet to be sending the kids back to school. Important Dates and Times for All Schools
Registration, curriculum, orientation... It's all covered in Carroll ISD's "Back to School" information packet. Download it by clicking on the PDF above!New for Bus Riders 2016-2017: Bus Safety Handbook & Bus Rider Contract
All bus riders must have a parent or guardian signed ‘Bus Rider Contract’ turned in with the Bus Rider Registration form, indicating that they have received the Bus Safety Handbook and will agree to abide by the rules. Bus passes will not be issued until a signed contract has been turned in. The Bus Safety Handbook and Contract can be found on the Transportation webpage here.Physicals & Online Sports Participation Packets
All Carroll ISD athletes grades 7-12 must complete the sports participation packets and athlete release forms for the 2016-2017 school year. All athletes must also have their physicals on record with the athletic training staff before the first day of school. Click here to access the forms.School Supply Lists

Dragon Football is hosting a Community Pep Rally and Fundraiser at Feedstore BBQ on Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. Come meet the 2016 Dragon football team, eat BBQ and all proceeds benefit Dragon football. High School Parking Permits On Sale Now
High school students parking on campus must purchase a parking permit. These are on sale now and can be purchased online. Go to your home campus (CHS or CSHS) website and click on “Pay to Park” to purchase your parking permit. Once you purchased your permit online go to your home campus to pick up your parking permit sticker to place on your front windshield of your car. Students must present current driver license and current insurance to receive your parking permit sticker.New Traffic Signal Coming on North White Chapel
A new traffic signal is coming to the North White Chapel and Ascot Drive intersection in front of Carroll High School and expected to be in place before the start of the school year on Monday, Aug. 22. The dates for the CSHS Fall musical have been set (Sept. 22 – 25). Auditions will be the first day of school. In order to help interested high school students prepare, Carroll Theatre will be hosting a Musical Audition Camp the week before school starts. Camp will be held at CSHS Auditorium, Monday–Friday, Aug. 15-19 from 4-6 p.m. Acclaimed choreographer, Jeremy Dumont, will be running the camp and making sure the students are ready to audition the first week of school. Cost is $125. Please make checks out to Carroll Theatre Boosters and bring to first day of camp.Student Enrollment Verification Process Still Available
The Annual Student Verification process is available online through Aug. 19. Each school year, parents of students enrolled in CISD are required to complete verification forms, and update student/family information, for each student. Enjoy dinner catered by Brio Tuscan Grill while watching the Dragon season opener from the air-conditioned suite and proceeds benefit the Belles. Two winners can have seven guests each and will share a catered dinner. The auction ends on Friday, Aug. 19 at midnight. Winners will be contacted on Saturday, Aug. 20.
