Smoked Gouda Mac andbrCheese

ShreddedbrGouda cheese, preferentially aged. 1 Lbs
Elbowbrpasta (generic) 1 Lbs
Rawbrbacon 6brstrips
Heavybrwhipping cream 1 Qt.
Groundbrwhite pepper 1/2 Tsp. or to taste
Kosherbrsalt tobrtaste
Cookbrthe pasta in boiling water with a pinch of salt. Once the pasta is al dente,brplace in cold water to stop the cooking, drain and set aside.
