TCU head coach Gary Patterson has made the call and the name is Kenny Hill. No more nicknames, no more trouble—Hill just wants to move forward and play the game he loves. The former Carroll Dragon officially takes the reins as the quarterback of the #13 ranked Horned Frogs this weekend.

Hill will enjoy some serious home cooking this Saturday at TCU’s Amon G. Carter Stadium against South Dakota State. The former 5A Texas player of the year is "beyond grateful” for the opportunity to once again play the game he’s loved since he was a young boy growing up in nearby Southlake.

After leading the Dragons to a 2011 5A State Championship as a junior, Hill had a solid senior campaign that culminated in 9,806 yards of total offense and 113 TDs.

The 2012 Texas Gatorade Player of the Year then became the new King of the Hill at Texas A&M succeeding Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel. No Dragon fan will forget his record-setting debut in 2014, when he completed 44 of 60 passes for 511 yards and four touchdowns in a whirlwind 52-28 win over South Carolina.
