Jose Guzman has a passion for helping families afflicted by Alzheimer’s disease. That’s why he started Guzman 23 Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing financial assistance to those impacted by Alzheimer’s.

The community is invited to join the Foundation’s sixth annual charity golf tournament, Putting for a Purpose, on Monday, October 10 at the Trophy Club Country Club. The event benefits research for Alzheimer’s, the sixth leading cause of death in the United States.

Single players are $250; foursomes are $800. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch and the option for a local sports celebrity to ride along with the group and play. Sponsorship packages begin at $500.
