Marcus Luttrell, former U.S. Navy SEAL, addresses the crowd at Gala to Give Back
CerebrumbrHealth Centers is making big strides for veterans. On September 18, the brainbrrehabilitation center hosted its inaugural Gala to Give Back benefittingbrveterans' healthcare through National Foundation for Brain Health and Feherty'sbrTroops First Foundation. The gala raised $500,000 for the cause.
Approximatelybr250 guests joined dozens of active and veteran military service membersbralongside Glenn Beck, Marcus Luttrell, Miles Austin, General Leroy Sisco for anbrevening of mixing, mingling and raising funds for veterans. The night's activitiesbrincluded a photo booth, raffle, big board and live auction, a helicopter arrivalbrfor the celebrity auctioneer, a video from former Governor Rick Perry inbrsupport of the cause, and incredible food from Vaquero Club including a seafoodbrbar and live music from the Dan Quinn Band.
Rafflebritems included a HK Mark 23, Beretta over/under shotgun, a custom Samuelsohnbrsuit, and a dozen home décor items, Tortuga 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, amongbrother prizes.
BigbrBoard items included Montage Resort packages in Kapalua, Maui and Laguna,brCalifornia, building a custom AR-15 with Navy SEALs, EnterTRAINment withbrTrident Response Group, Custom art pieces and more.
Livebrauction items included multiple vacation trips to Skibo Castle in Scotland,brVintage Club, St. Regis Punta Mita, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and a private villa in Maui.
