Priorbrto joining Spine Team Texas, Dr. Patel, a graduate of thebrUniversity of Illinois-College of Medicine, conducted his residency training atbrWayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where he served as Chief Residentbrfor the university’s Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program and as ResidentbrSurgeon in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Patel later completed abrfellowship in spine surgery at the University of Southern California KeckbrSchool of Medicine, training with premier orthopedic spine surgeons andbrneurosurgeons to gain a comprehensive understanding of operative andbrnon-operative management techniques. He also served as a clinical instructorbrfor USC’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Patelbrstays at the forefront of his field and informed of the latest medical andbrprocedural advances through active involvement in organizations like thebrAmerican Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Association,brAmerican Medical Association, North American Spine Society, and AO SpinebrInternational. Dr. Badhey, a board-certified anesthesiologist,brbrings experience in the latest techniques in Interventional Management of neckbrand back pain. Prior to joining thebrteam, Dr. Badhey completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the RushbrUniversity Medical Center and his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine atbrWake Forest School of Medicine- Carolinas Pain Institute in Winston Salem,brNorth Carolina.
Dr. Badhey stays informed of the latest medical and procedural advancesbrthrough active involvement in organizations including the American Society ofbrRegional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Society of Anesthesiologists,brAmerican Medical Association, and the North American Neuromodulation Society.
