Cagan Randall, local owner of the Brain Balance Achievement Center in Southlake, received the Community Engagement Award at the 2016 Brain Balance Achievement Centers National Convention, held recently at the Four Seasons Resort in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Randall was honored for his commitment to helping students succeed. As part of a network of local Brain Balance Achievement Centers across the country, the Southlake center works with children who struggle with academic, behavioral or social issues.
Open since 2011, the center is located at 100 West Southlake Boulevard. The Community Engagement Award recognizes a center whose work with the community expands the Brain Balance mission. Each year, centers from across the country are considered for the prestigious honor.
“My goal in opening a Brain Balance center in Southlake was to help change the lives of kids and families that were not getting the help they desperately needed,” Randall said in a press release. “Hearing the stories of children whose lives have been changed by the program serves to reinforce that mission. I am proud to have been recognized by my colleagues and corporate partner with this award.”
The national convention brought together more than 250 representatives from 75 centers across the country to celebrate top-achieving sites and their staff.
