Park Place Lexus, the official “Drive For Toys” sponsor of the GRACE ChristmasbrCottage, recently kicked off the 2016 toy drive collection. The GRACE ChristmasbrCottage provides gifts for local children in a store-like setting and is openbrfor a full two weeks prior to Christmas.
“Christmas is a time of giving and we love supporting GRACE every year,”brsaid Matt Woolsey, general manager of Park Place Lexus Grapevine, via pressbrrelease. “We live and work in a community that is very blessed, but we alsobrremember there are families who struggle to make ends meet. We want to makebrsure all the kids in our community have an unforgettable Christmas this year.”
The community is invited to drop off a new, unwrapped toy for the GRACEbrChristmas Cottage through December 17 at Park Place Lexus Grapevine, located atbr901 Highway 114 East. Or drop them off at GRACE Christmas Cottage, 815 SouthbrMain Street in Grapevine.
The GRACE Christmas Cottage provides new, unwrapped gifts to familiesbrfacing financial hardship due to limited income or recent emergency. Eachbrqualified family is given a voucher with a value based on the number ofbrchildren in the family, allowing the parents to “purchase” donated toys, homebrgoods and appliances in a private, store-like setting. This unique approachbrallows families to budget their resources and select unique presents whilebrpreserving the family's dignity. More than 2,700 individuals and families arebrserved at Christmas Cottage each holiday season.
