Since 2009, the Trinity Strand Trail and the Mavs Foundation have sponsored this family friendly and festive holiday race in the Metroplex. So strapbron your sneakers and Santa hats and bring the whole familybrfor either the one-mile walk or the 5K run through the DallasbrDesign District. This year's race will take place Wednesday night,brDecember 21, with the one-mile walk beginning at 6:30 p.m.brand the 5K kicking off at 7 p.m. Online registration is availablebrnow, with reduced prices for kids 10 and under. Packet pick-upbris at Luke's Locker (on Mockingbird Lane near SMU) betweenbrDecember 17 through 20, and race-day registration opens at 4brp.m. the afternoon of the event. Every participant gets a T-shirtbrand bells, so be prepared to jingle all the way through Dallas!
