Highland Landscaping, a multimillion-dollar landscape and construction business in Southlake, welcomed a special guest to its office last week. Tom Sullivan, the United States Chamber of Commerce’s vice president of small business policy, visited Southlake to discuss small-business policy at the federal level along with the president’s agenda to lift the burden of onerous government regulation.
Highland Landscaping’s owner and president Ian MacLean has served two terms as chairman and is currently on the executive board of directors for the Southlake Chamber of Commerce. MacLean is passionate about the growth of small businesses in Southlake and around the country.
Mark Guilbert, president of the Southlake Chamber of Commerce, Peter Ermish, chairman of the Southlake Chamber of Commerce, and Southlake Mayor Laura Hill joined in the meeting to discuss the state of small business in Southlake.
